Martin EZ Stick Labels Legacy

Martin EZ Stick Labels was founded by Francisco Martinez, an immigrant from Guadalajara, Mexico who became an American entrepreneur. He worked for a label manufacturer in Glendale, CA, but found himself out of a job after a fire destroyed the company one night. Being the sole provider for his family, he borrowed $1,500 from his in-laws and purchased his first used machine. He setup shop in his garage and the legacy was started with his son Richard and his daughter Sylvia boxing orders in Kindergarten and 1st grade for candy bars.  After a few years of touch and go, he was able to rent out his first shop on Whittier Boulevard in East Los Angeles. 

As he ramped up clientele, Francisco was able to purchase his first warehouse in the City of Commerce. As the years progressed, a larger plant was needed so Francisco created our EZ headquarters in the City of Santa Fe Springs. Yes, we still use the Original Green Machine and have added 2 Mark Andy’s, 1 Nilpeter, and most recently, we unveiled our newest edition, MPS Domino EF SymJet Hybrid Press, or as we call it, our baby.

Richard grew up under his father’s wing, blossoming into a label expert and the torch has been passed.   Martin EZ Stick Labels has been in business for over 40 years. Our team can run short and long runs, craft graphic art, nurture the development of your labels to better understand your style, and customize the shape, colors, and substrate based on your label needs.
